Anti-quorum sensing effect of streptococcus agalatiaceae by Zinc Oxide, Copper Oxide, and Titanium Oxide nanoparticles

Quroum sensing system found in many species of bacteria, including Streptococcus agalactiae that use to regulate virulence and pathogenicity characteristics. So, this study achieved detect the inhibitory effect (CuO, ZnO, TiO2) nanoparticles on quorum agalactiae. The bacterial isolates were obtained from vaginal rectal swabs pregnant women who visited maternity children hospital Al-Diwaniyah city 7/2018 4/2019. Three metal oxides TiO) used which was examined using a scanning electron microscope then three different concentrations prepared (100,250,500) μg\ml its effectiveness against sensing. showed their inhibiting through formation clear inhibition zone around wells. Copper oxide high efficiency with diameter (35) mm. Also, zinc efficacy (27) mm, while less appeared titanium oxide, where (20) results nano-oxides (TiO2, CuO) quroum S.agalactiae copper most efficient among them. there is need further studies factors other bacteria.
